Detailed Description

Protect Your Family with Professional Standard Home Monitoring for Only $8.95 per month, (plus $30.00 set up fee). With no long term contract or expensive and overpriced monthly fees, monitor your home for police, fire and emergency medical response.  (Unfortunately we do not cover the states of Maryland, Nevada or Virginia).

Cellular Monitoring Only Option is $16.95 per month, (plus $30.00 set-up fee). To select this option, check the Optional Drop Down Field Below.

Cellular and Internet Monitoring Option is $24.95 per month, (plus $30.00 set-up fee). To select this option, check the Optional Drop Down Field Below.

After you purchase monitoring, one of our friendly staff members will contact you within 48 hrs. We will either mail or fax you a form to get some general information from you. Simply fill out the form, return it as directed. Once your Alarm Sytem is installed you will be covered. No need to sign a contract! After your 12 months are up, simply buy another 12 months. It's that simple!

Both the Standard and GSM Cellular Only Monitoring Service are provided by UL Rated national companies. The Combination Cellular and Internet Monitoring Service is provided by Honeywell's "Total Connect" service.

Regardless of the option you select, your home will be protected with 24/7 Central Monitoring. In the event that your alarm system is triggered, it will transmit a signal to the Central Station and a professionally trained operator will respond within seconds.

If the signal is an "intrusion" signal, the operator will then call up to two different phone numbers that you have designated in order to verify an emergency. If no one answers, or if someone answers that doesn't know the designated password, the Central Station operator will call your local authorities. If the signal is a Medical or Fire emergency signal, the operator will immediately contact your local Fire Department or EMS. After the Emergency responder is contacted, the operator will then call your designated "contacts" to inform them of the emergency and that the authorities have been dispatched. You may designate yourself, a family member or anyone else of your choosing as a contact.

Within 30 days of the expiration of your one year service period, Watchdog will send you an email notifying you that your service is about to expire. If you do not purchase another year of monitoring, your service will be terminated at the expiration of one year. It is important therefore that you provide an accurate email address when you place your order. Otherwise, your monitoring service will expire without continuous service.

For customers who currently have service with Quick Response, you will have to program the new station's telephone number into your system if you wish to purchase another year of service following the expiration of the Quick Response service. This only takes a few minutes and our monitoring staff will assist you with the re-programming.
Business Service
 
If  a business customer purchases monitoring but identifies itself as a residential customer, Watchdog reserves the right to require the customer to pay for the business upgrade including for the time period which expired prior to Watchdog discovering the error.  A failure to pay the additional fee shall result in the service being terminated and the customer shall receive a refund for the unexpired term of the service calculated at the rate for business monitoring.

Termination of Standard Monitoring Service

By purchasing Central monitoring, you agree that if you do not renew or repurchase monitoring through Watchdog at the end of your contract, (or term of service), it is your responsibility to remove the monitoring station's telephone number from your alarm system. This only takes a few seconds and can be done at your keypad by pressing the sequence of numbers and symbols below. Watchdog will assist you if necessary.

A failure to do so results in charges to Watchdog each time a signal, (including openings and closings), is sent to the central monitoring station. In the event you refuse to comply after notice by Watchdog, you will be charged a penalty fee of $10.00 each month and will be responsible for any and all expenses incurred by Watchdog as a result of your refusal to comply.

The first step in deleting your monitoring call out numbers is to:
  • 1) Enter your alarm system programming fields via the keypad.
  • 2) When a "20" appears indicating you are in programming press *41* (a chime will confirm the deletion)
  • 3) Press *42* (a chime will confirm the deletion)
  • 4) Press *43* (a chime will confirm the deletion)
  • 5) Press *99 to exit programming
  • This completes the process
